Drum mixers, Magnum Venus Plastech - Drum mixers

Drum mixers, Magnum Venus Plastech

These mixers are mainly used for blending and agitating resin and gel-coats. They are best used with materials under 2000 centipoise. These are air operated 0.95 HP bung hole mixers designed for the complete mixing of various additives into polyester resins in 55 gallon drums. Opposing helical impellers keep additives in suspension in the solution being mixed. Impellers and blades fit through 2" NPT bung opening. Drum mixers, ES Manufacturing - Drum mixers

Drum mixers, ES Manufacturing

Provides uniform agitation of low to mid viscosity liquids, suspensions, and thixotropic liquids. Works well with resin, but not recommended for gel coat. Available for either the 3/4" or the 2" NPT threaded bung holes in the drum cover. Both models include 32" stainless steel shaft. 25 CFM max air consumption. Threaded base housing allows hands free operation. A back-off needle valve allows you to slow the agitation after morning mix up or after fillers are up.

D1140 mixer can be used while also pumping at the same time through the 2" opening. 1 1/4" blade diameter is larger than 3/4" NPT threaded opening, but blade rotates through the 3/4" opening in drum lid. Stainless steel threads on base. D1150 mixer threads into the 2" NPT opening in a standard drum lid and has a larger 1 3/4" blade diameter to provide an increased mixing surface.

Bunghole agitator - Drum mixers

Bunghole agitator

These mixers are mainly used for blending and agitating resin and gel-coats. They are best used with materials under 2000 centipoise. Agitator is designed to fit through 2" NPT bung hole on a drum cover. It uses an auger-style blade which will move the material from the bottom of the drum to the top. It does this very efficiently and quickly. This agitator uses a 0.50 HP air motor. The BHA agitator is the most efficient bung agitator in the industry and will also mix viscous fluids.
