4 inch and 5 inch trimmers - Saws that use 4"-10" diameter blades

4" and 5" trimmers

Diatrim's powerful dependable air motor is designed for fast and ongoing production trimming of FRP parts. One of the most widely used hand-held air saws in the composites industry. Same 1.16 HP motor is used in both saws. The two blades included with each saw are described on our Diamond edge circular blades page. Saws use either 1/16" or 3/32" thick blades.

3/4" arbor, 23 CFM @ 80 PSI, 1/4" air inlet, 3/8" min hose size, 11" long.

4" trimmer includes two F5120 continuous rim 4" blades. 1" cutting depth. Dust collecting pipe on the blade guard is angled back toward the saw body. A benefit of this design is that dust travels with less friction, and the collecting pipe and compressor hose are more aligned with each other for easier handling. *Contact us if you prefer to order this saw with a perpendicular pipe, as shown on K5015. An open guard is also available.

5" trimmer

includes two F5225 side spoked 5" blades. 1.5" cutting depth. Dust collecting pipe on the blade guard is perpendicular to the saw body making it easier to use as a handle on this larger saw. *Contact us if you prefer to order this saw with an angled pipe, as shown on K5014.

4", 5" and 6" trimmers

Bodi heavy-duty 1.00 HP trimmers. Thinner blade guard gives saw 1/4" offset. 4" saw includes F5221 blade, 5" includes F5225 blade, 6" includes F5230 blade. Prior to 2015, the saw body was red. Now saw body is a silver gray color, and may occasionally (but rarely) be a blue green color.

3/4" arbor, 24 CFM @ 80 PSI, 1/4" air inlet, 3/8" min hose size. K5025 is 11" long.
